Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files sent from the website to the browser where they are stored. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user’s hard drive nor transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Cookies are used for different purposes: to perform computer authentication, to monitor sessions, to store information about specific configurations about users who log on to the server, to store preferences, etc.

The types of cookies that we use

Technical cookies

These cookies are essential to enable the user to navigate throughout the site and use all its features. They allow the site to remember the choices made by the user (such as the name, the language or region of origin) and provide advanced personalized features. Without these cookies, some essential services may not be used. By using our site, the user agrees that these cookies may be installed on their device.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). In this instance, third party cookies are collected and handled anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host website (performance cookie). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to anonymously collect and analyze information about website use behaviors. This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it in order to draft reports for providers regarding the activities on the websites themselves. For more information, please refer to the link below: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ . The user can selectively disable Google Analytics by installing on their browser the opt-out component provided by Google. To disable Google Analytics, please refer to the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Cookie duration

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or until a logout. Other cookies “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available in subsequent user visits. These cookies are persistent, and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases there is a fixed expiration, while in other cases the duration is unlimited. In any case, they are cookies that are not intended to outline the user’s profile or to gather data on the user’s behavior.
